Moissanite is a lab-created gemstone known for its incredible sparkle and durability.
It looks similar to a diamond but is more affordable, ethical, and eco-friendly. While diamonds rank 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, moissanite is close at 9.25, making it perfect for everyday wear. Moissanite also has more fire (rainbow flash) than diamonds, giving it a unique brilliance of its own.
Sometimes. On a thermal diamond tester, moissanite may test as diamond. But advanced testers (like multi-testers) can usually tell them apart.
To the untrained eye, moissanite looks very similar to a diamond, so most of people would not be able to tell. People buying moissanite think it's a smart, worry-free choice for traveling.
Lab-grown gemstones are real gemstones — created in a laboratory instead of mined from the earth.
They have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural stones, but are made using advanced technology that mimics natural formation. Lab-grown gems are more sustainable, ethical, and often more affordable, without sacrificing beauty or quality.
They are grown using advanced methods like flame fusion, hydrothermal, flux growth, and Czochralski pulling— all replicating natural conditions under controlled environments. Different methods often result in different quality and price points.
